Lecturer position at the Department of Software and Computer Science Education in computer science specializing in programming (elementary algorithms, Python, C#) and computer science education.
ID of the position: 202204-L2-KSVI
Working activities: Pedagogical and creative work in the area. Teaching of esp. basic courses and supervising student theses and projects. Writing of teaching materials. Optionally, research and project work. A part-time contract is a possibility.
Qualification requirements: Mgr./MSc. or Ph.D. degree (or equivalent) in a relevant area, experience in a relevant field, positive attitude towards pedagogical work, ability to supervise student theses and projects. Ability to teach in Czech is required; ability to teach in English is an advantage. Experience from foreign academic or research institutions and possibly a publication experience are an advantage.
Expected starting date is September 1, 2022, and it is negotiable.
Lecturer position at the Department of Applied Mathematics specializing in theoretical computer science and discrete mathematics

Qualification requirements: Mgr./MSc. or Ph.D. degree (or equivalent) in a relevant area, experience in a relevant field, practical experience with development of large software systems, advanced knowledge of one of C++, C#, Java, JavaScript or similar languages. Positive attitude towards pedagogical work, ability to supervise student theses and projects. Ability to teach in Czech is required; ability to teach in English is an advantage. Experience from foreign academic or research institutions and possibly a publication experience are an advantage.
