Fulbright Distinguished Chair: Prof. Mark A. Novotny
The Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University is honoured to welcome a prominent guest in the academic year 2016/2017. Professor Mark A. Novotny from the Mississippi State University will teach at the faculty thanks to the Fulbright Distinguished Chair Program.
During his stay in the Czech Republic, Prof. Mark A. Novotny, apart from a series of seminars, will lecture about modern aspects of quantum mechanics with the vision of potential technology applications.
Within the whole academic year students can attend the lecture Quantum Mechanics: Nontraditional Introduction and Selected Applications (#ext) in the extent 3/0. The lectures will take place every Tuesday from 9am to 11:30am in the lecture room F2. Everyone who is interested in modern quantum mechanics is welcome.
