Specialized English courses provide opportunities to study specifics of the professional discourse in various disciplines of mathematics, physics and computer science. The ability to communicate in such a professional discourse requires knowledge of the content area presented during the first two semesters at MFF UK. It is also recommended that mainly upper-intermediate students attend the specialized English seminars (ideally after passing the general English preparatory courses).
