Academic and Well-being Advisors and Mentors for Computer Science Programmes


Academic Advisors

For the study branch in which you are enrolled, a dedicated Academic Advisor is available to help you in selecting which courses to take, to ensure that you are keeping up with your various courses, to guide you in choosing the topic of your final thesis, etc.

If you have questions or concerns about your studies, your Academic Advisor is a first point of contact.

Mentors

In our Computer Science and Mathematics programmes, you will have regular meetings during semester with a Mentor or Mentors, who will review concepts and techniques encountered in lectures and help consolidate your learning.

Well-being Advisor

Our Well-being Advisor can offer you advice and support on a wide range of well-being related issues, such as:

  • Transition to University
  • Transition to foreign country
  • Living in Prague
  • Feeling overwhelmed by your studies
  • Stress, Low mood, Difficult life situations
  • Feeling anxious, worried, lonely

We may be able to support you with other issues which are not outlined here so please contact the Well-being Advisor if you are unsure.
