Students with Special Educational Needs

Information on special needs is intended for all students of the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, prospective students, and instructors who deal with this issue.

The Faculty of Mathematics and Physics ensures equal study opportunities for students who have special needs related to their health status.

Students with special needs are students with physical disabilities, visual and hearing impairments, as well as students with chronic physical illnesses, specific learning and behavioural disorders, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, or other psychological illnesses.

If you are not sure whether you have any of the listed conditions or to what extent your situation may fall into the category required for registering a special need, you can find information here on who to contact in such a case and how to proceed.

In order to coordinate assistance to students, the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics has established the position of faculty Coordinator of Student Well-Being Services, which is held by Mgr. Veronika Jonáková. The coordinator works closely with Mr. Lukáš Krump, Ph.D., who was in charge of students with special needs in previous years.

The coordinator is the contact person for applicants and students with special educational needs, as well as for instructors who teach students with special needs.
