Postdoctoral position at the Department of Condensed Matter Physics, FMP CU, in the field of ab-initio quantum transport.

Qualification requirements: Completed doctoral degree in the relevant study program. Knowledge of first-principles calculations of electronic structure based on density-functional theory (DFT) is required. Experience with quantum transport, spin-orbit effects, molecules, Turbomole package, and publication records in impacted journals will be positively evaluated.
Length of contract: The contract will be signed for one year, with an optional extension depending on the productivity of the postdoc.
Expected starting date is October 1, 2022, and is negotiable.
COMMON REQUIREMENTS FOR POSTDOC POSITIONS
All applicants are required to have a Ph.D. (or equivalent) in the relevant field, achieved a maximum of eight years ago. This period does not include the period of maternity leave, parental leave, military service, periods of serious health complications, or periods of other similar legal long-term obstacles to work (e.g. time spent in long-term care for a family member/close person). Publication activity in the given field in periodicals recognized in the given field and further experience from stays at foreign workplaces are assumed.
