Academic researcher at the Department of Physics Education in the field of physics education (part-time 0.4)

ID of the position: 202302-VP2-KDF

Qualification requirements: Ph.D. title (or equivalent) in the field of physics education and deep knowledge of both Czech and international context of physics education are required. It is expected that the applicant has already published his/her contributions in the field of physics education, focusing on theory of relativity. The list of relevant publications should be added to the application. We require the ability to combine scientific and pedagogical activities, including the supervision of bachelor's and diploma theses. Fluent command of Czech language is required for this position.

Expected starting date: March 1, 2023 is negotiable

Academic researcher at the Institute of Particle and Nuclear Physics in the field of heavy ion physics at the ATLAS experiment

ID of the position: 202302-VP2-UCJF

Qualifications: An academic degree of Ph.D. in nuclear or particle physics or a related field, experience from a foreign postdoctoral fellowship in experimental particle physics, at least one year experience in heavy ion physics is required.

The plan is to actively participate in international particle experiments, in particular the ATLAS experiment at CERN.

Furthermore, the ability to combine scientific activity and teaching activities - lectures, tutorials and laboratory work in Czech and English and supervision of student, bachelor, diploma and doctoral theses is required.

Expected starting date is March 1, 2023, and it is negotiable
