opening of the following scientific senior researcher position at the School of
Mathematics

A researcher in the field of mathematical analysis at the Department of Mathematical Analysis. The expertise of the researcher should be close to one of the topics: function spaces, approximation theory, partial differential equations.

The positions are funded by the Czech Operational Programme Research, Development and Education, project “International mobility of research, technical and administrative staff at the Charles University”, CZ.02.2.69/0.0/0.0/18_053/0016976. The funding is available for five months, starting preferably from February 1, 2023, which is negotiable.
Qualification requirements: a researcher with Ph.D. in mathematics or related fields, working in the field at least 6 years, and who, during the last 3 years, worked outside of the Czech Republic for at least 2 years at the half-time (or more) research position. H-index at least 4.7. Appropriate publishing activity is required, i.e., in the past 5 years, at least 3 publication outputs of the type "article", "book", "book chapter","letter" or "review", should be registered in Thomson Reuters Web of Science, or Scopus databases. The researcher should have been an investigator or co-investigator of an international, or a national grant during the last 5 years.
