State exam

Doctoral state exam is usually taken during the second year of study.

It is necessary to inform the committee of doctoral studies about six months before your planned exam (as the topics of examination and also the exam committee have to be chosen).

The rules of procedure are listed here.

Topics on differential equations can be found here and topics on theory of functions and functional analysis can be found here.

Students can choose topics from both lists.
