The research team is composed of researchers working at School of Mathematics (Department of Mathematical Analysis,
Department of Numerical Mathematics, Mathematical Institute of Charles University) and School of Physics (Institute of
Astronomy of Charles University, Department of Atmospheric Physics and Department of Geophysics). All participating
institutes/departments are part of Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University.

The aim of the school is to promote the interconnection of mathematical modeling, analysis, and computational methods used in solving complex (real-world) problems. The lectures will be prepared with a broad multidisciplinary audience in mind, and at each school a broad scope, ranging from modeling to scientific computing, will be covered. Usually four main speakers deliver a series of three/four lectures. Ample time within the school is allocated for the promotion of informal scientific discussions among the participants.

dovolujeme si připomenout, že další ročník Semináře numerické analýzy se bude konat 27.-31. ledna 2025 na Fakultě elektrotechniky a informatiky, VŠB-TU Ostrava. Konference proběhne v tradiční formě, tj. série přednášek Zimní školy prezentovaná zvanými řečníky bude doprovázena přednáškami a postery ostatních účastníků konference.
Přednášky v Zimní škole přednesou Prof. Miroslav Tůma (MFF UK Praha), Prof. Jan Vybíral (FJFI ČVUT Praha) a Doc. Petr Vodstrčil (FEI VŠB-TU Ostrava).
Nově bude jedna vědecká přednáška věnována památce Prof. Radima Blahety, přednese ji Prof. Ulrich Rude (FAU Erlangen-Nurnberg).

Na této stránce se již nyní můžete na konferenci zaregistrovat. Registrace potrvá do 8. prosince, krátce poté sestavíme program. Konferenční poplatek lze uhradit až v lednu, ale pokud Vám to bude více vyhovovat, bude možné jej uhradit i v prosinci.
