Administration of the Karlov domain
- Operation and development of the basic infrastructure of the MFF UK computer network in the Karlov location and its connection to the Prague Academic Network
- Approving the connection of terminal devices to the computer network in the Karlov location, assigning IP addresses and domain names
- Configuration of network elements and operation of central services in the Karlov domain (DNS, DHCP/BOOTP)
- Installation of computer network cabling in the Karlov location
Management of hardware, operating systems and software of central servers in the Karlov domain
- For the needs of the dean's office

For the needs of the faculty's central information systems

Backup and protection of data stored on these servers

Monitoring the load and availability of the operating infrastructure and services
Management of applications of the faculty´s central information systems, support of their users, cooperation with the supplier
- Amoeba (+ system development)

Access system (+ development of faculty extension)
- Technical support for the operation of faculty web pages
Administration of selected central services for faculty
- Coordinating the transition from on-premises email systems to M365
- Providing L1 support for M365
- Digitization of faculty processes independently and in cooperation with ÚVT
- Support for system integrations and application interfaces
- Administration of faculty AV technology in the auditoriums
- Computer management support in the auditoriums (so far in the Karlov and Troja locations)
- Purchase of central SW (especially Microsoft, Adobe, etc.)
- Coordinate the purchase and allocation of Zoom licenses
Partner for ÚVT – cooperation within the entire university
- Coordination of the form of M365 services not only for our faculty
- Coordination of the form of SiS not only for our faculty
- System integration
- Crisis Information and Calling System (KISS)
Management of the dean´s computer network, incuding end devices
- Connecting end devices to Active Directory
- Central distribution of software using WPKG packages
- User support within the dean's computer network, user training
- Providing the purchase and installation of all hw and sw within the dean's computer network
Collaboration in the management of facilities and services in the management of other organizational units
