Representatives of Dnipro National University Visit Matfyz For the Second Time
On November 25, representatives of Ukraine’s Dnipro National University (DNU) visited Matfyz once again, a year after their previous visit.
The delegation, led by Rector Sergiy Okovytyi, was welcomed by Dean Mirko Rokyta and Vice-Dean for International Relations Zdeněk Doležal
The main purpose of the visit was to discuss future cooperation opportunities. The Ukrainian delegation expressed gratitude to Matfyz for hosting an internship for DNU representatives in October, which was primarily organized by Prof. Roman Grill and Dr. Daria Drozdenko, who also attended the meeting.
Discussions focused on the possibilities of e-learning, organizing online lectures, and practical training for Ukrainian students, particularly at the master’s level. The Ukrainian side showed interest in participating in Erasmus initiatives, such as E+ International Credit Mobility and within the 4EU+ Alliance framework. The potential for sample exchanges and the extension of collaboration beyond physics to mathematics was also mentioned.
