Matoušek's lecture
Matoušek's lecture is being held since year 2024. Jiří Matoušek (10. 3. 1963 – 9. 3. 2015) was a full professor at Charles University and ETH Zurich. He was one of the most outstanding Czech computer scientists and mathematicians at the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries. He wrote a number of influential monographs and textbooks, especially in the field of theoretical computer science. He contributed significantly to the teaching and development of School of Computer Science.
