Citation response
For each candidate’s work with a citation, the candidate should state on his/her List of publications: the title of the work, the total number of citations of this work according to WOS (or other, for the field important citation database), and finally a selection of publications that cite this work. Self-citations (meaning publications in which the applicant is a co-author) should not be listed.
The selection of citing publications is up to the applicant. For the habilitation procedure in the fields of mathematics and computer science, however, it is necessary to select a total of at least 15 citations in professional periodicals, peer-reviewed proceedings and monographs, in the field of physics a total of at least 20 citations according to WOS. For the appointment procedure in the fields of mathematics and computer science, it is necessary to select a total of at least 50 citations in professional periodicals, peer-reviewed proceedings and monographs, in the field of physics a total of at least 50 according to the WOS.
